It is time to look at revising all contracts, forms, terms and conditions and certificates as hardly any include sustainability clauses
Cost models for sustainable measures and the range of metrics should be based on one agreed control methodology. Business models should include a statutory sinking fund for operation, upgrades, refurbishment and maintenance.
Targeted, direct support for UK manufacturing and skill in sustainability materials and methods is needed from government now and for the next five years.
Because there is no requirement to submit data gathered, we are losing information of strategic value. A real time and historic micro-climate database would provide an excellent data set for implementing at the best sites, rather than taking a generic approach.
